The Fading Dreams…

The fading dreams of daylight
Rushed up against the reality of the
Dark carpet which blankets our world
As the hour grows heavy and the
Photoelectric gods take precedence
Upon the globe that man has made
Its own

The Night and it’s heavy veil of sins
Normally redirects the hardships
Of past hours and actions from the daylight’s squander
Which releases our heroes into the legacy of the evening
To forge into the new age of cheers and rejoicing
As the sun escapes the heavens
And we once again celebrate the hollow moon
That has become our savior once again
