My One

My One

Can’t remember, but I can’t forget
The mystic day when we first met
Elapsed in time, it’s all to short
I needed a friend, I found in you

Maybe this is off the mark
Blame this fool who’s under the gun
Social life atmospheric disease
Known only by the words of: One

All our days when their amassed,
Drift out of bounds, and beyond the map
You’ve gone and filled me up inside
Without you, sweet, I feel a void

Known each other for none to long
Cry in pain when you are gone
Lived one life, that life has died
Now amid a summer’s glow

Never viewed you
Never had ya’
To tell the truth, does it matter?
All my feelings are for your soul
Where love is:
Together
Whole
